Everyone has the right to exist as they are without shame or stigma. Jessica believes that people are not broken and do not need to be fixed. Instead, she believes that all things that people do are adaptive, meaning that the things people do make sense and serve a purpose. However, sometimes the things you do can feel unfulfilling. The things you do help you survive, but Jessica wants to help you feel fulfilled in life rather than just surviving. She also wants to help you get what you want out of life rather than what others tell you that you need.

The therapeutic process can be difficult, so Jessica’s goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where you feel seen and heard, and can be your authentic self. This means seeing you as more than your struggles and challenges. Jessica’s approach recognizes the mind-body connection and sees you within the context of the larger system composed of family, friends, community, work, religious organizations, etc.

There is so much power in the present moment and being present in your life. Jessica has seen this through her own Zen practice, and she hopes to help you feel peace and experience the ease of wellbeing within your present moment.
